With no power built up in my power charger, and a character without its power cost met in my battle zone, I set Corridor. What's my attack in the battle?
A
Your attack in this battle is 0. Even if the power cost of an enchant card that raises attack is met, a character card without its power cost met "can't attack" (its attack is 0), so the "Attack +20" effect doesn't take effect.
With Dual-wielding set, I took 20 damage and my HP became 0. Can Dual-wielding's effect then recover 10 HP?
A
No, it can't. The game ends the moment either player's HP becomes 0, and the player with HP left at that moment wins. Once HP becomes 0, no more card effects are resolved, so Dual-wielding's effect isn't resolved.
I couldn't set a character card on turn 1, and couldn't on turn 2 either. Can the effects of enchant cards I set from turn 2 onwards take effect?
A
Yes, if their power costs are met. However, effects that need a character card, such as raising attack, can't take effect as there's no card for them to apply to. Your attack that turn is 0.
What happens to my opponent's card after High alert reveals it? And when is High alert put in the power charger?
A
The top card of your opponent's deck revealed by High alert goes back on top of their deck. If the revealed card's power cost is ★6 or more, High alert is put in the power charger immediately.
When High alert's effect sends it to the power charger, how does it count for power?
A
Its SEND TO POWER is 0, so it doesn't count as power. However, it counts for effects that look at the number of cards in the power charger or the number of electric cards.
When using a card like NIRA-CHAN (Humanoid) with an effect that "names a card", how much of the name do I need to give?
A
The "card name" here is the whole name, including the part in brackets such as the song name. For example, if you name "にらちゃん" (NIRA-CHAN) and "にらちゃん(お勉強しといてよ)" (NIRA-CHAN (STUDY ME)) is revealed, the effect doesn't take effect.
On the turn I set Take charge at the front line, my opponent used a character card with 30 attack and Explosion. If I'm the priority player, what does my opponent's attack end up as?
A
80. First, Take charge at the front line's effect gives your opponent's 30 attack -40, bringing it to 0 (attack can't go below 0). Then your opponent's Explosion gives their own attack +80, making 0 + 80 = 80, so their attack ends up as 80.
On the turn I set UNIGURI-KUN (Byoushinwo Kamu), my opponent set a character card without its power cost met. With the Chronos at day, who wins the battle?
A
UNIGURI-KUN (Byoushinwo Kamu)'s DAY attack of 0 is compared with your opponent's 0 attack from not being able to attack, so this turn is a draw.
On a turn with UNIGURI-KUN (Byoushinwo Kamu) in my battle zone, I set Desire and the Chronos went to day. With Desire's power cost met, does its effect raise the attack of a character card whose attack is 0?
When I'm CREAMY!!? meets the condition of its effect it's put in the abyss. Does its SEND TO POWER count then?
A
No. When it's put in the abyss by meeting its effect's condition, it doesn't count as power. When it leaves the set zone other than by a card's effect, such as being swapped out when you set a different area enchant card, or at the start of the turn when it was set as your turn 1 card during game setup, it's put in the power charger, so its power counts.
KIRA-MAID GO!'s effect put my opponent's SEND TO POWER ★★ card back in their deck, so the power cost of the character card in their battle zone is no longer met. What's my opponent's attack?
A
Your opponent can't attack, so their attack this turn is 0.
On the turn I set KIRA-MAID GO!, my opponent used an enchant card with an attack + effect. My opponent was the priority player so their effects were resolved first, then KIRA-MAID GO!'s effect meant their enchant card's power cost was no longer met. Does my opponent's attack + effect take effect?
A
Yes, it does. An effect takes effect if its power cost is met when it's resolved. However, if after KIRA-MAID GO!'s effect is resolved the power cost of the character card in your opponent's battle zone is no longer met, your opponent can't attack, and the attack + effect doesn't take effect either.
If the player who set NIRA-CHAN (Hippocampal Pain) is the priority player, does the effect of the character card their opponent set take effect?
A
No, it doesn't. The character cards are swapped by NIRA-CHAN (Hippocampal Pain) before the opponent's effects are resolved, so the opponent can't use the effect of the character card they newly set that turn.
Can effects like Summer UNIGURI and the friends's "If the cards in the abyss are only ○ element…" be used when there are 0 cards in the abyss?
A
No, they can't. Resolve them on the basis that there are cards in the abyss. Likewise, effects like Last resort's "If the cards in the power charger are only ○ element" are resolved on the basis that there are cards in that zone.
No, it can't. Enchant cards are put in the abyss or power charger at the end of the turn depending on whether they have SEND TO POWER. So an enchant card set this turn goes to the abyss at the end of the turn, and can't be chosen with Kitte-men • Inc-neko (Seigi). However, if a different enchant card was already in the abyss from an earlier turn, you can choose it with Kitte-men • Inc-neko (Seigi), and together with the card in the set zone, use that enchant card's effect twice.
No. For "choose up to ○" and "choose ○", you must choose when there are valid targets. Where you can choose how many, always choose at least 1. (With The last dance at the ball (SHADE), choose 1 or 2.) If there are no valid targets, finish resolving without choosing. If the rest of the effect can't take effect without a target, it finishes resolving without taking effect.
