Q

When using a card like NIRA-CHAN (Humanoid) with an effect that "names a card", how much of the name do I need to give?

A

The "card name" here is the whole name, including the part in brackets such as the song name.
For example, if you name "にらちゃん" (NIRA-CHAN) and "にらちゃん(お勉強しといてよ)" (NIRA-CHAN (STUDY ME)) is revealed, the effect doesn't take effect.

Q52
Q

On the turn I set INC-NEKO (SHADE), my opponent set an enchant card with an attack + effect.
If my opponent became the priority player when the Chronos was resolved, can INC-NEKO (SHADE)'s effect cancel their enchant card?

A

No. Your opponent's effects are resolved first, so INC-NEKO (SHADE)'s effect of cancelling their enchant card's effect can't take effect.

Q57
Q

With NIRA-CHAN (STUDY ME)'s "You may choose 1 (STUDY ME) character in your hand and put it in your power charger", can I put a (STUDY ME) card without SEND TO POWER in the power charger?

A

Yes, you can. However, it doesn't count as power.
It counts for effects that look at the number of cards in the power charger.

Q60
Q

Does NIRA-CHAN (Haze Haseru Haterumade)'s "Attack +50 if your opponent's character's attack is 0" take effect when my opponent has no character card in their battle zone?

A

Yes, it does.
"Your opponent's character's attack is 0" includes their character card having 0 attack, and also any case where they can't attack so their attack is 0, such as not having set a character card or having set a character card without its power cost met.

Q62
Q

Can Study Group's effect take effect when I have no character card in my battle zone?

A

Yes. A "reduce" effect is about your own HP, so it can take effect.

Q64
Q

When I used GRAY (MIRROR TUNE), my opponent's power charger only had cards with SEND TO POWER ★2.
Can its effect take effect?

A

No. If your opponent's power charger has no SEND TO POWER ★1 cards, the effect can't take effect.

Q65
Q

Can the (SHADE) character card in the power charger chosen with Searching !'s effect be chosen again each turn?

A

Yes, it can be chosen again at the effects step each turn.

Q67
Q

Is the character card from my opponent's battle zone, swapped out by NIRA-CHAN (Hippocampal Pain)'s effect, put in the power charger even without SEND TO POWER?

A

Yes. Whether or not the character card from your opponent's battle zone has SEND TO POWER, it's swapped with the card from the power charger.
After that, power is counted as usual by whether the cards in the power charger have SEND TO POWER.

Q68
Q

On the turn I set NIRA-CHAN (Hippocampal Pain), my opponent used an enchant card with an attack + effect.
If my opponent is the priority player, does their attack + effect, resolved first, still apply to the character card put in their battle zone after NIRA-CHAN (Hippocampal Pain) swaps it?

A

Yes, it does. Your opponent's attack + effect has already taken effect, and it applies to the attack of the character card that's used in the battle, so it still applies after the characters are swapped.

Q69
Q

When I used NIRA-CHAN (Hippocampal Pain), my opponent had no character cards in their power charger.
Is their battle zone left as it is and the battle goes ahead?

A

Yes. If your opponent has no character cards in their power charger, the character in their battle zone isn't swapped.

Q71
Q

When I'm CREAMY!!? meets the condition of its effect it's put in the abyss. Does its SEND TO POWER count then?

A

No. When it's put in the abyss by meeting its effect's condition, it doesn't count as power.
When it leaves the set zone other than by a card's effect, such as being swapped out when you set a different area enchant card, or at the start of the turn when it was set as your turn 1 card during game setup, it's put in the power charger, so its power counts.

Q73
Q

KIRA-MAID GO!'s effect put my opponent's SEND TO POWER ★★ card back in their deck, so the power cost of the character card in their battle zone is no longer met.
What's my opponent's attack?

A

Your opponent can't attack, so their attack this turn is 0.

Q74
Q

On the turn I set KIRA-MAID GO!, my opponent used an enchant card with an attack + effect. My opponent was the priority player so their effects were resolved first, then KIRA-MAID GO!'s effect meant their enchant card's power cost was no longer met.
Does my opponent's attack + effect take effect?

A

Yes, it does.
An effect takes effect if its power cost is met when it's resolved. However, if after KIRA-MAID GO!'s effect is resolved the power cost of the character card in your opponent's battle zone is no longer met, your opponent can't attack, and the attack + effect doesn't take effect either.
